Tender Claws

is the solo act of Tess Corr, an independent artist born in

Belfast and based in the North West. Inspired by gothic fiction, personal reflections, and the darker sides of nature and the human condition, Tender Claws is ethereal, enticing, otherworldly: a fuzzy alt-grunge exploration of escapism, seen everywhere from the charged lyrics to the soaring production to the very core of the music itself.

Drawing on Queens of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey, Nine Inch Nails, and Chelsea Wolfe, listeners will find hints of industrial, indie, shoegaze, and goth influences, allowing for waves of incredible intensity made ever more poignant by the subtle and softer episodes in-between. Usually spotted performing as a four-piece, Tender Claws has seen slots alongside Dog Race, Rosegarden Funeral Party, and Bonnie Trash.
